Periodicals reading room

About us

The Periodicals Reading Room is located close to the Central Information Desk on Level 1, and the current year's issues of a broad range of print journals and other periodical publications are available here.

Current issues of German and international daily newspapers (incl.: Weserkurier, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Financial TimesDeutschland, Die Zeit, The Guardian, El Pais, Le Monde ...) are also available.

Older issues

Older issues are collected in volumes which are compiled every six to twelve months.
Volumes containing the issues published over the last 10 years are shelved by subject area on Levels 2, 3 and 4.
All other older volumes are held in the closed stacks.
Users can request these holdings from the closed stacks.
