The Law Library (Juridicum) is a branch facility of the State and University Library Bremen (How to find us). The library is tasked with supplying the students and staff of the University of Bremen, and the Department of Legal Studies (FB6) in particular, with academic literature and information resources relating to general, European and foreign law.
Older titles, some of which can be borrowed, are held in the closed stacks at the Central Library on campus.
The Law Library is an open stack reference library with approximately 100,000 titles organized by topic on site – these titles are not available for borrowing.
PC-workstations, individual workstations and facilities for group work are available to users.
Print and scanning stations are also available, enabling users to copy and scan texts, and print documents from the library's PC-workstations or personal flash drives.
In addition to our introductory guided tour of the library for new students, we offer a wide range of training seminars, providing users with the opportunity to learn specialized research techniques and reference management skills.
We are happy to tailor our seminars to your specific needs.
