Installing & licensing Citavi Team

December 2023: The SuUB has extended the Citavi license until the end of 2026. All registered Citavi users should have received an email from Citavi with information about the license extension.

Citavi is currently available on Windows clients only. Our license includes access to Citavi Web also. How to use Citavi Web

• Download
  First download the free version of Citavi
• Installation
  Install Citavi Free on your computer.
• Licence Key Request
  Afterwards, request your personal licence key for the full version Citavi Team:
Citavi license for students & researchers
• Activation
  Start Citavi and enter the licence key from the e-mail, that you normally receive from Citavi within 24 hours of request. The e-mail describes the procedure. With the licence key, the free version will be converted into the TEAM version for the duration of the campus hiring contract.
