Limited access holdings and remote access

Due to licensing restrictions the databases, e-journals, and e-books available through the SuUB can only be accessed on campus. These resources are identified in our catalog with a yellow circle.
Members of Bremen's universities can also access these resources from home.

Remote access for members of the University of Bremen

Authorized users can use our limited-access e-resources off campus through the ZfN's (Center for Networks) VPN service. Users from the University of Bremen will require a ZfN user account to access this service, which connects and configures a proxy server through your web browser.

You have to use the software Cisco AnyConnect to set up the internet connection. Detailed instruction and download link is available at the ZfN (Center for Networks).
